Mission

The School of Business Administration is a learning community committed in the Catholic and Marianist tradition to educating the whole person and to connecting learning and scholarship with leadership and service in an innovative business curriculum designed to prepare ethical leaders for successful careers in a global business environment.

Our Approach

Through the curriculum and co-curriculum of the School, students develop the ability to integrate learning across disciplines, apply the theory they are learning to real business problems, and lead with ethics and integrity. Professional success requires an understanding of human values and the society in which business operates and mastery of the various business areas. For this reason, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration requirements include four pillars:

  • Common Academic Program (CAP): A foundation in liberal arts and sciences
  • Business Core: A firm grounding in the common body of business knowledge, as well as professional development provided by the Career Flight Plan courses.
  • Business Major: Specialization in a business discipline
  • Business Wisdom through International, Service, and Experiential Learning (BWISE): Co-curricular requirement to provide essential hands-on learning
