Commuter Student Services
Commuter students are encouraged to get involved and engaged in campus life beyond the classroom. A lounge for commuter students is located in Kennedy Union 118 which is used for study, relaxation and meeting friends. A microwave and refrigerator are provided for the convenience of commuter students. Lockers are also available in the lounge and can be rented by the year from the Center for Student Involvement (Kennedy Union 241).
The commuter adviser, located in Gosiger Hall 131 (937-229-2229), provides support to meet the co-curricular needs of commuter students and maintains contact with all areas of the University to provide students with connections and link them to resources.
There is also a commuter executive team made up of current commuter students that plan engagement activities amongst the commuter population. Some past activities have included: Game nights, movie nights, cookie decorating contests, tips for success sessions, various social events, and more!
