Admission applications to the University of Dayton are evaluated based on specific academic majors or undeclared status in an academic division. The admission office takes into account various factors such as grade records and trends throughout high school, the selection of courses in preparation for college, class standing or ranking (if provided by the high school), and ACT or SAT scores. Additionally, the recommendation of a high school guidance counselor and other factors are also taken into consideration.
