2025-2026 Academic Catalog

Approved Courses

Use the links below or scroll down to view courses that fulfill CAP requirements. Due to revisions in a few areas of CAP, some courses are noted as "daylighted," which means that those courses have been given temporary approval to fulfill the respective CAP component. Daylighting is in place as a means to expand the options to fulfill a CAP requirement until departments submit course proposals for full CAP approval. Courses will no longer fulfill the requirement if they are not CAP approved by the end of the daylighting period. CAP components with daylighted courses include the following: Oral Communication, Social Science, Arts, and Diversity and Social Justice. In addition, Experiential Learning is a new CAP component in 2025-26 and all courses are daylighted to begin implementation.

This catalog listing is accurate as of August 1, 2025. DegreeWorks should be consulted for the most up-to-date information since courses that satisfy CAP requirements can vary by year of admission or according to a student's major. DegreeWorks can be accessed through Porches
